2x12" Indie Pop On Brick Coloured Vinyl - Alternate Cover Bonus Tracks & Poster

Gracie Abrams' third LP Daughter From Hell follows on from The Secret Of Us, which controversially established the daughter of director JJ Abrams and Bad Robot exec Katie McGrath as a new walk-of-fame plotter in her own right. The title is Abrams' own self-description: 'Hit The Wall' being the lead single, framing the oncoming record clearly in tones and themes of self-sabotage and patterns of breakdown: "I'm a crack in the pavemen/I'm a slip knot/I'm afraid that my fortress is a glass box". 'Death Wish', 'Cold Goodbyes', 'Out Of Nowhere' and 'Crazy Girl' were debuted live during the 2025 tour before the album was confirmed; we already know it's going to be a dark but ultimately restorative indie pop sensation.

Gracie Abrams (born September 7, 1999) is an American pop singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, California, and the daughter of the filmmaker and composer J.J. Abrams. After having only three tracks publically available on her Soundcloud ('And She Will Miss You', 'blue', 'i kinda miss you') Gracie released her first debut track 'Mean It' along with an accompanying music video. Shortly after, Gracie released two other songs, 'Stay' and '21', the latter ended up being on Gracie's first Extended Play 'minor' along with hit singles like 'I miss you, I'm sorry', (which got released on April 8th, 2020) and 'Long Sleeves' (which got released with the announcement of the project's title & its release date, July 1st). On October 1st, 2021, 'Feels Like' was released as the lead single off of Gracie's second EP 'This Is What It Feels Like', which would get released November 12th. Following the end of Gracie's tour, being Olivia Rodrigo's special guest on the SOUR tour and being announced to be an opener on Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour, multiple songs would be released before 'Good Riddance', her debut album's release, such as 'Where do we go now?' [the lead single!], 'Block me out' and 'Difficult'. Produced by Aaron Dessner, the project would be released February 24th, 2023. In 2024 Abrams would commence her sophomore album era with 'Risk' [the lead single!] & 'Close To You' as the two preceding singles to her sophomore album, 'The Secret of Us' which would be released June 21st, 2024. The project was met with widespread commercial and critical acclaim as multiple songs such as 'Close to You' (being her very first solo entry in the Billboard Hot 100), 'us.' and especially 'I Love You, I'm Sorry' took off. On the Billboard 200, the project debuted at #2, just behind Swift's 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT' and peaked at #1 in the UK. In autumn, Abrams would embark on the sold out "The Secret of Us Tour", joined with special guest ROLE MODEL and open the very last shows of The Eras Tour, along with announcing the deluxe edition, which introduced the GP to Abrams' biggest hit at the time, 'That's So True', peaking in the top 10 of The Billboard Charts and #1 in the UK. As more songs would take off from the sophomore record, such as 'I Told You Things' and releasing a gunfire awareness track, 'Sold Out (feat. Bon Iver & Aaron Dessner)', in 2026 Abrams would start the third album cycle with the lead single, Hit The Wall. Read more on Last.fm.
