3 Tracks- 3 Artist Of Dark Pounding Bass Heavy Techno Floorshakers - The seventh volume of Drumcode’s annual A-Sides compilation hits with no less than 10 debuts for the label, with Charlotte de Witte, ANNA, B.Traits and Scuba’s SCB project, among the collection of topline artists to release their maiden productions on the imprint.
Over two decades into its lifespan, Drumcode keeps evolving and excelling, pushing techno forward while remaining wholly respectful of its roots. This reputation for progression was further fuelled this summer with its inaugural festival at the NDSM Docklands in Amsterdam, featuring a long list of heavyweights including Nicole Moudaber, Joseph Capriati, Amelie Lens and Ida Engberg, among others.
As ever, the A-Sides compilation provides a timely opportunity to showcase the full range of its sonic repertoire, with Adam Beyer scrupulously selecting unreleased tracks that have taken prime position in his sets over recent months.
Part 1 see's the outstanding all-round talent ANNA kick off the compilation with ‘Portable Paradise’, a pulsating cut that sets the tone for the top-shelf club cuts to follow.
Wehbba’s straight-talking ‘Just’ hits with an immediate sense of urgency before neck-snap claps strike with force.
Label mainstay Luca Agnelli rounds off part 1 with 'Shipment' an industrial techno workout that has been featured heavily across festival main stages all Summer long.

Wehbba is one of Brazil's main electronic music ambassadors worldwide. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and currently based in Barcelona, Spain, this former dentist has been spinning house and techno music records, around the globe, for over a decade.
Wehbba has been a prolific producer, and has developed a very distinct style, marked by stellar production standards. 'Full Circle', Wehbba's first studio album, released by Tronic Music in 2010, was the landmark which set Wehbba's career off to a new level, achieving outstanding media, DJ and public success. Over the following years, he’s been a regular in charts of portals like Beatport or Resident Advisor, and with a second studio album on Tronic, 'Square Two', released in 2013, Wehbba further explored his musician background, displaying a more prominent versatility, including a guest appearance from Jon Dixon and D'Sean Jones, 2/3 of the Detroit group D3, part of the legendary Underground Resistance collective.
Out of the studio, Wehbba’s heavy touring schedule includes venues and festivals such as Tomorrowland, The BPM Festival, Sensation, Lollapalooza, Warung, D-Edge, Pacha, XXXPerience, Triblatech, Ministry Of Sound, Creamfields, Vision, Rex Club, Fabrik, Florida135, Cat & Dog, Crobar, Westerunie, Coda and countless others, while also hosting 2 monthly radio shows, broadcasted over hundreds of stations worldwide, namely Pioneer DJ Radio and Tronic Radio.
